An App That Hit #1 in Taiwan a Day After Launch

      Hi fellow app scouts,

This week, we found a journaling app that reached #1 in Taiwan just one day after launch, a live map of New York City's longest lines, and a calorie tracker where logging your meals helps raise a pet dragon.

      Let's get into it.

      footnotes • Journaling app

footnotes brings photos, voice memos, thoughts and videos together in a single journal entry.

Over time, those entries become a timeline of your life that you can scroll back through.

The app launched on September 21 and is already Top 10 in Lifestyle in 5 countries, including #1 in Taiwan.

      Lora • AI reflection app

Lora gives you a space to talk through your life, remembering the people and details you bring up along the way.

Each week, it creates a recap of the people who appeared most often and the topics you kept returning to.

The app launched on September 14 and has already reached the Top 100 in Lifestyle in the U.S.
